A first win for Chinley C and an excellent treble for James Krassowski, his last game being a hard fought five set victory over Thomas Ainsworth. Once again though the score does not reflect how close the night's play was with eight games going to four sets. James was backed up by two wins apiece from Debbie Kruger and Richard Winterbottom, plus a win in the doubles. Thomas and Mark were the sole points earners for the Square. The win gives the Chinley side some encouragement that they can climb off the bottom of the table. We shall do our best to ensure they stay there when we (Hyde CC), play them in our rearranged game tomorrow night.
