A defeat for YMCA was a little harsh in a close fought match that did not finish until 10.45pm. Mark Lambe was the outstanding player on the night remaining undefeated. Adam Barton was a little unlucky not to register a win. The unorthodox player from the Czech Republic, Lucas Buricin, is a handful in Div 2, only losing to the equally unorthodox Martyn Capper. Another miserable doubles performance by YMCA consigned them to another home defeat. Bandits look favourites to take the Div 2 title.
