A good first performance of the season by Andy Bicknell prevented Hollingworth Con Club 'C' from whitewashing YMCA. Nick Bakewell was a class apart from anyone else, ably supported by good efforts from Eddie and Tony. The early season form of Adrian Borrell has deserted him and Pete Green struggles to turn  some good play into overall victories. Martin Capper came off the subs bench for the doubles but only added to the dismal display from YMCA. A thoroughly deserved victory for the Con Club.
