Club Membership

The Draycott & Long Eaton Table Tennis Club offers a range of Membership and the benefits entitle members to:

·        Attend organised Club Table Tennis Events

·        Attend Free practice on Tuesday Nights (6.30pm – 10pm)

·        Attend Free practice on Wednesday Nights (6.30pm – 10pm)

·        Attend Sunday Nights (6.30pm – 10:00pm)

·        Represent the Club in local league matches (extra fee)

·        Participate in the Club’s Annual Closed Championships

Annual Club Membership runs from 1st September to 31st August

Membership applied from after 30th November in any year pay 10% of stated fees for each month or part of month remaining.

 Membership forms are available from the Club’s Main Lobby Area and Membership forms must be fully completed before players receive a membership card to allow access to the Centre

Table Tennis & Social Club



Over 50’s Table Tennis & Social Club members playing sessions are

Monday  1:30-3:30pm & Friday Mornings 10:00am - 12:00

Cost is £2.50 per session



Family Fees – 10% off for 2 people, 20% off for 3 people and 25% off for 4 or more

 PLEASE NOTE: THAT FULL (GOLD), DISABLED (GOLD), ADULT MEMBERS of FAMILY GROUPS, STUDENTS and Parents / Guardians of JUNIOR (GOLD) MEMBERS are entitled to Vote at the Club’s AGM usually held annually in early September.

 Playing Opportunities:

The Draycott Table Tennis Centre is open for general practice for Club Members on:

·        Tuesday Evening                               6.30pm – 10:30pm

·        Wednesday Evening                         6.30pm – 10:30pm

·        Sunday Evening                                 6.30pm – 9:00pm

When you enter the Draycott Table Tennis Centre please refer to the Notice Boards for the latest information and also the Duty Officer at the Reception / Servery.

The Centre is also available at the above times for Non Members and visitors to practice at a cost of £5.00 for Seniors and £3.00 for Juniors (Under 18) payable to the Duty Officer on arrival. Under normal conditions there aren’t any restrictions on how long Non Members can play but in the case of exceptional numbers of players wanting to play a time limit might have to be imposed.

 League Matches:

The Draycott & Long Eaton Table Tennis Club runs teams in the following Leagues:

·        Derby & District Table Tennis League        

·        Nottingham & District Table Tennis League        

·        Loughborough & District Table Tennis League      

Winter League matches run from October to April and the matches are played on:

Tuesday Evenings    7.30pm – 10:30pm     OR       Wednesday Evenings    7.30pm – 10:30pm

Team Captains should ensure that their players are informed and available for matches. Matches start PROMPTLY at 7.30pm and team members are requested to arrive by 7.15pm.

 The Club also organises a Summer League on a Wednesday Afternoon which runs from May – Mid July

 Representative matches:


Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire Table Tennis Associations all run County teams at Cadet, Junior, Senior and Veteran’s Level. Players are nominated by the Club if they are of a suitable standard

British & National League:

The Draycott & Long Eaton Table Tennis Club runs teams in the following British and National Leagues.

·        Senior British League

·        Women’s British League

·        Junior Boys British League

·        Junior Girls British League

·        Veterans British League

·        Veterans National League

·        National Cadet League

·        National Junior League                             

 Players are selected on merit by the Club’s Committee and the teams are organised by the Club’s Competitions Organiser - Helen Lumby   E-Mail for more details

 Tournament Play:

The Club holds an annual Club Tournament and also holds a Graded Singles and Doubles event  - Entry Forms are available from the Club. Members of the Club also attend several tournaments around the country
