Senior British League Weekend

Senior British League 20/21st September 2014

 

The first weekend of Senior British League saw four Draycott  Elgre Teams competing  in various Divisions across the divisions.

In  Division 1 North  the 1st team started well with a win in their first match , after this however they found the going tough with 2 losses and and draw. At the end of the first weekend they sit in 6th place. Craig Feargrieve and Sam Logue were the most successful players for the team.

In Division 2 Midlands  the newly promoted 2nd team got off to a fantastic start and sit  with maximum points at the top of the league.

Mark Green and Jon Taylor were unbeaten, Nathan Butler had one loss and James Chappell  3 losses.

 

In Division 2 North the former Keyworth players that are now part of our club had a steady first weekend. They finished the weekend in 4th place having drawn 3 matches and lost 1.

Hon Choy was the most successful player winning 5 from 8.

In Division 3 Midlands the 4th team also had a good start to the season they finished the first weekend in 3rd place on game difference but with the same points as the team in second.

New recruits to the team excelled with Ben Willson winning 6 from 8 and Sam Henderson 4 from 8. Kate Hughes also had a very good weekend winning 5 from 8.
