An Unbeaten performance by Lucas Clarke and Alex Rees saw Crewe Central maintain their unbeaten run inspite of tough resistance from their arch rivals Halton. Tim Cheung and Harry Cartwrights performances also ensured that the team maintained the top position on day two of the competition. With Oliver Ingram sitting out on this engagement, new addition Alex Rees was too hot to handle as he went unbeaten after all his games.

Crewe Central proved too strong for third division opponents in the national cadet league,
held at Halton Table Tennis club, on November 4, 2018 by winning all their five matches in what was their maiden appearance.

The team was happy to participate in the first of 4 installments set out for the 2018/2019 season, where they will battle out for honors and promotion to a higher division.

The next set of matches will be taking place on December 2, 2018, January 13, 2019 and March 24, 2019.

There are 5 matches where no scorecards have been received or it is possible the matches were not played due to lack of players.

Unless the scorecards or someone can advise the result of a match no later than FRIDAY 21st SEPTEMBER, these matches will be delcared VOID.
