Crawley League Players Join Forces To Storm The National Vets

Various Crawley & Horsham league players joined forces to play under the Foresters TTC and OLOP banners at the National Vets, Foresters TTC coming home with Three Titles.

Foresters fielded five teams at the National Vets which takes place over two weekends at the Velodrome in Derby.

The Foresters A team comprised Wes Bush-Harris, Martin Gunn and Paul Carter. All of the teams also included a few Friends From The North, so some strong line ups all round. Paul Carter was the outstanding A team contributor finishing with 83% enabling the team to finish in equal 3rd place in division 1B.

The B team won division 3B fairly comfortably, Marc Burman, Rory Scott and Northerner Jeremy Banks all outstanding.  John Robinson, Barrie Gilbert, Graham Barnes and John Calcutt played in this division for OLOP finishing in second place.

Foresters C and D took both the Division 4 A & B titles, with Shaun Parsley and Tony Catt in the C team. Gerry Pugh captaining the victorious D,s.

The E team with Johnny Clarke & Dave Steel came third in Division 4, Andy Meads & Robin Stace playing against them for OLOP B.

An extremely enjoyable two weekends for all, with lots of late night frolics and plenty of Ping.
