Copthorne look doomed after latest results

Copthorne went down as expected 9-0 to the champions Foresters A as expected while Horsham B picked up three priceless points against Horsham Spinners  A with Andrew Sharland,Holly Holder and Gary Pells all defeating promising junior Will Michell.Gary Pells pushed Rory to 11-7 in the fifth.6-3 to Spinners. 

With Horsham B facing the tougher looking fixture against second placed Blades A Copthorne still have to pick up at least three points versus Crawley Community B.

James Wheatley had a frustrating evening against Foresters B leading both Mark Collins and Rodders two games to love before going down 11-4 in the decider to both.Kate Cheer gained Foresters only two points with fine wins both going the distance over Dan Pound and Rodders,7-2 to Foresters.

Foresters C scored an impressive victory over Crawley Sports A with Adam Daley and Gerry Pugh winning two each v Graham Beaney and Sally Hughes,Graham had an excellent win over Bonzo while JR won his customary three.

Graham Faulkner picked up Crawley Community Bs only point after a four set win against Tony Catt.Robin Stace lost to Tony and conceded his next two matches.Josh Bennett and George Hazell won with ease.

With Phil Richardson doctoring the scorecard to try and prevent Carter winning his 12th MOM award he targeted the wrong player as Barrie Gilbert won all of his games three straight against Richard Hazell,Graham Carter and Michael Bridger,Michael led Phil two nil before going down in five.Graham too the first v namesake Paul before losing in four.9-0 to Crawley Community A.

Graham Barnes,Chris Vincent and Steve Hoad all won two each beating Phil Nicholls and Matt Caddy to give Horsham A a 6-3 win over Foresters E.Evergreen Johnny Clarke won three including a fine recovery from two nil down to defeat Digger Barnes in five.
