An excellent team effort by the bottom club Copthorne A saw them gain four valuable points with Gary Bristowe defeating Chris Vincent and Steve Hoad in straight games,Stuart Brooks winning 11-9 in the fifth against ace defender Graham Barnes and Chris Pullinger winning 9 in the fifth over Chris Vincent,Stuart was just edged out by Steve Hoad 8 in the decider.Both Copthorne and Horsham B are on 31 points.
The nearest Horsham B came to a point was Andrew Sharland who after leading James Wheatley 2-0 went down 14-12 in the fifth,Nick Smith pushed Rebecca George and James to five,Johnny Clarke won his games with ease.
Crawley Community A beat their B team 9-0 with John Callcut winning 9 on the fifth against Merrow teammate Graham Faulkner with Barrie Gilbert winning in five also.Paul Carter while not in top form won his matches comfortably despite thinking he was a defender!!Amazing that a quality player like Faulkner is only on 24%Robin Stace and Graham Green were the B teams other players.
Foresters A handed out a good thrashing to a fairly strong line up of Adam Daley,Dave Steel and Luke Gallagher of Foresters C.The only end collected by the Cs was by Adam Daley against Adam Todd.As expected Craig Bryant and Martin Svensson made short work of the opposition.
