Foresters A retained their seasons unbeaten record but were taken to the brink last week by a strong Horsham Spinners A squad who have been boosted recently by the addition of Adam Laws.
A great display of top standard table tennis from both sides left the match tied at 4 all, with Craig Bryant and Mark Burman last on to decide the outcome, Burman took the first 11-6 but Bryant as would be expected then stepped it up a gear taking the next three 11-5 11-8 11-9 to give Foresters A the win 5-4.
Mark Burman was certainly on top form beating Wesley Bush Harris in four and also taking Mark Scutts very close, losing in five.
Adam Laws had no answer first on versus Craig Bryant but wins against Wesley in four and a determined comeback from 2 sets and match point down to beat Scutts in five kept Spinners in the hunt.
Spinners dogged Rory Scott posed problems all night beating Scutts 13-11 in the fifth but losing to Craig in three and Wesley 11-6 in the fifth.
A great match with wins for all involved and a good advert for the Crawley & Horsham Premier Division.
