Blades B defeated Foresters D 5-4 with the aid of three forfeits,James Wheatley and Kate Cheer won two each,Colin Jones had an impressive victory over Kate.
Unlucky Holly Holder almost opened her account bravely recovering from two games down only to be edged out 9 in the fifth by Dan Pound,Adam Daley who seems to play for a different team every week scored a treble as did Dan and Mark Collins in the 9-0 whitewash of Horsham B to leave them firmly rooted at the bottom.
Another two man team were Crawley Sports A who went down 2-7 to Crawley Community A who are now creeping back up the league after an indifferent start,JR won a close encounter with Channel Isles teammate Barrie Gilbert in four and was on the wrong end of an 11-7,11-0,11-9 pasting from Paul Carter,he also beat Phil Richardson after three straight losses.
A star performance for Foresters C was Luke Gallagher who came back from two games down and 8-4 in the fourth against wily old fox Graham Barnes to win in five.He also won deuce in the fifth against Steve Hoad,Chris Vincent scored Horsham As only point with a four set win over Luke.
New signing Adam Laws was quickly into winning ways against the trio of Sai Man Yau,Graham Faulkner and John Callcutt making his debut for Horsham Spinners A,Rory Scott also won three with Communitys only points coming with Graham and Johns win over Tom Pomej.
