In form Bridger carries Blades B to a fine victory

After scoring his first ever maximum last week Michael Bridger followed it up with an even more impressive treble against Crawley Sports defeating Joe Comper deuce in the fifth,Sally Hughes three straight and probably his best ever win over "Mr Consistency" John Robinson in four.Tony Catt and Graham Carter won one each for a 5-4 win.

Following a long overdue trip to specsavers John Callcut got back to winning ways beating Rebecca George and Phil Nicholls 9 in the fifth and Mike Robinson three straight.Graham Green (2) and Sai Man Yau(1) completed Community Bs 6-3 win over Foresters.

John Clarke had a surprising three straight win over Rory Scott but that was the extent of Foresters Cs success.Tim Surrey and Marc Burman won three each to push Spinners into second place.

Foresters A slipped up playing Horsham B as Mark Scutts dropped one game to Holly Holder,Wes Bush Harris and Lewis Mayhew won three each as Foresters pull further clear at the top. 

Josh Bennett the number 1 junior in Sussex and 7 in England was impressive in his wins against Paul Carter,Barrie Gilbert and Dorset Boy John Hook.For Blades George Hazell played consistently well defeating Barrie Gilbert for the first time and lost narrowly 9 in the fifth to Paul Carter in a match of high quality.Gilbert scored a rare win over Steve Barby to end with a 3-6 defeat.

Copthorne A lost 8-1 against a very strong Foresters D side of Emma Torkington,Jan Collado and Kate Cheer.Gary Bristowe had a fine win over Collado and Stuart Brooks pushed Kate all the way to 9 in the decider.Emma Won all of her matches convincingly three straight.Copthorne have already opened up a 5 point lead over Horsham B which could be all important later on.

Foresters B had a solid 8-1 win over Horsham A with Graham Barnes defeating Dan Pound for their lone point,Evan Sharp and Mark Collins weighed in with three each.
