Carter sees Blades home as last orders called at the bar

Gr aham Carter always gets full value for money occupying the table for longer than anyone else and often the last man standing.In this match against Foresters E he recovered from two games down to beat Rebecca George 11-4 in the fifth and the same position v Phil Nicholls to win deuce in the final game.Tony Catt won two against Mike Robinson and Phil who last to Colin Jones also.5-4 to Blades B.

Horsham A gained two hard earned points with Steve Hoad and Graham Barnes both defeating Tom Pomej.Graham only lost in five to Rory Scott and deuce in the fifth to Tim Surrey.7-2 to Spinners.

Dan Pound secured an excellent maximum including a deuce in the fifth victory over John Robinson.Mark Collins went down in five to JR.Adam Daley had a fine win v Joe Comper.6-3 to Foresters B.  

A stroll in the park for Craig Bryant,Adam Todd and Prakash Varsani as Foresters A beat their D side 8-1,A creditable win for Jan Collado against Prakash.

Crawley Community A returned to winning ways with a 9-0 demolition of Copthorne.Phil Rich after missing two tough matches won all three as did Barrie Gilbert and Paul Carter.

John Clarkes fine four set win over Steve Barby was all Foresters C had to show for their efforts against Blades A,Josh Bennett and George Hazell won three each.Gary Bonner and Gerry Pugh made up the Foresters side.

Bottom club Horsham B could count themselves unlucky only to pick up one point by virtue of Dennis Hayden beating Graham Green.In other close encounters Dennis lost deuce in the fifth to Robin Stace,Gary Pells 9 in the fifth to the same player and Mark Weston deuce in the fifth to Graham Green.John Callcut had an easier time winning all his matches comfortably.
