Colebridges fifth annual hard bat tournament produced new winners in all categories , a selection of delectable sandwiches and an abundance of good hard bat table tennis.

An increased entry of 28 players ( up from 20 last year )  were split into five groups , with the top two from each group being entered into the main draw , and the less successful allocated an entry in the consolation event.

Ben Willson added to his Birmingham Premier individual award with the ultimate accolade , by beating Pete Roddy in the final of the main event.

In the consolation event Riz Akbar beat Jake Crawshaw , both players with their best years to come.

In the fun single point event , Thomas beat Ian Ferguson , a considerable scalp.

With many thanks to Kate Hughes , without whom this enjoyable event would not take place.
