Kenny Lindsay starred for Bournville A in their 7-3 victory over Smiths Wood B in the Premier Division on his debut.  Parijet De and Bhavesh Amlani offered solid support to Lindsay as he beat Helen Turner, Paul Hancox and Jack Styring in an impressive display.  Leaders Hamstead A edged Colebridge Aces 6-4 in a crucial encounter.  Lester Bertie and Steve Robinson picked up two each for Hamstead, with Bertie beating Lynn in the crucial opening set.  Bertie was also involved in a vital doubles win in partnership with brother Steve. Hamstead B crushed their C team 9-1 with Hemal Raval keeping up his fine form with a treble that was matched by teammate Raj Singh.  Talented youngsters Jody Bevington and Michael Bree were both unbeaten for Beaufort Sports B in their emphatic 8-2 home success over Sutton Coldfield A.

Sutton Coldfield C demolished Bournville C 10-0 in Division One as Andy Choi, Andy Calloway and Clive Stretton were all unstoppable.  Dan Ranford was back to his best for Colebridge Dinosaurs with a hat-trick in the 5-5 draw with Streetly C.  He was made to fight hard for his treble however as both Colin Oakes and Mike Standen took him to a decider.  Sutton Coldfield B inflicted an 8-2 reverse on stuttering Smithereens as Martin Round gained a max.  Sutton’s Purdip Shoker suffered a rare defeat against Matt Satchwell who also unravelled the wiles of John Ludford.  Colebridge Eagles and Bournville B drew 5-5 with Mick Kendall spinning his way to a treble for Bournville.

Jamie Fellows is one of the most improved players in the league as he proved with a maximum for Colebridge Giants against Ivy Leaf A in a 7-3 success for his side.  Dave Smye notched an excellent treble for Smiths Woods C at Colebridge Falcons in a 5-5 draw.  Frank Cotter gave Smye his toughest fight before losing 11-4 in the decider.  Sutton Coldfield E and Colebridge Hawks drew 5-5.  Alan White and Derek Ellis both picked up two singles for Walmley A as they edged Sutton Coldfield D 6-4.  The pair also teamed up for a doubles victory while Chris Hall beat Clive Stretton 11-9 in the fifth to secure the victory.

Division Three individual leader Alan Thompson of Beaufort Sports C had his immaculate defence in fine shape to secure a maximum against Colebridge Knaves in a 7-3 victory. Quinborne produced a superb team effort to beat Smiths Wood D 8-2 as a Ming Sung treble and two each for Warren Stanyer and Dave Freeman saw off the challenge of Dave Lewis, Will West and Steve Adams.  Walmley B edged Sutton Coldfield F 6-4 courtesy of two each from both Nick Matthews and the evergreen Tim Stevens.  Dave Lyne reeled off an impressive maximum for Bournville E in their convincing 8-2 away success at Walmley C.

Awais Mohammed produced a max for Bournville G in Division Four but his side were beaten 6-4 by Sutton Coldfield G.  James Field picked up two for Bournville including beating Alan Winspur to clinch a share of the spoils.  Streetly E handed out an 8-2 drubbing to Beaufort Sports D courtesy of a Kevin Baynham treble.
