No plans for final day? Well, you could be watching the action and playing table tennis with up to 2,000 people in a 20,000 sq ft arena.

Organisers Serve Ping are promising to bring you the action on giant indoor and outdoor screens at Boxxed in Flooodgate Street, Digbeth, on May 30.

As well as showing the full match organisers are offering you the chance to flex your ping pong skills on eight full-size tables.

A bar and food stalls will serve drinks and street tucker from 3pm on the day with music from live DJs playing late into the night.

The event had started out as a ping pong tournament similar to Ping! London which will be  launching a Birmingham version again in June, Ping! Brum!

But the theme was adapted after Villa beat Liverpool in the semi-final last month.

With hopes of securing cheerleaders for the event Serve Ping boss and Villa fan George Kafetzis said: "We want to put on a show that'll give you the feeling of being at Wembley." ...Wembley with table tennis tables.

Tickets have now gone on sale for the event, with entry costing 50p.
