With only three games left until the end of the season, Tollgate F have already achieved an unassailable lead at the top of Division Three thanks to a 10-0 win over Dedham B. Arran Hutchinson, Jason Lloyd and Oliver Rampton were on fine form to help the team gain promotion to Division Two. Tollgate G needed to obtain at least 7 points against St James E to take their title challenge to another week, however they just missed out, winning 6-4. John Marshall won all of his games for St James. Tollgate must not be disheartened in their own push for promotion, though, as they still have a 17-point advantage over 3rd place Pegasus C.
Another Tollgate team, Tollgate A, look set to retain their title they won last season in the Premier Division after another strong performance against Rowhedge B. Greg Green and Andrew Warner won all of their games. They now lead Rowhedge A by a huge 19 points with only three games remaining. Tollgate B were awarded a 10-0 victory over St James B.
In Division One, Rowhedge D sit top of the table as they ran out comfortable winners against Tollesbury A, beating them 9-1. John Owen and Martin Edwards proved too strong for their opponents. Gt Horkesley A beat Rowhedge C 8-2, with Lloyd Bennett-Smith achieving a maximum. St James C and Tollgate D played out a 5-5 draw.
Rowhedge F recorded a slender win over Tollgate E to give them hope in the race for promotion. David Gatheral won all of his games for Tollgate with this win leaving Rowhedge level on points with the leaders, albeit having played a game more.
