Division Two looks set to go right down to the wire at the top of the table. Rowhedge F move to the summit thanks to a 10-0 win over St James D. They are now three points clear of Lawford C and seven points clear of Rowhedge E, with this result leaving St James D twenty points from safety. Lawford C beat Gt Horkesley B 6-4. James Tindle and Paul Hewitt were too strong for the Gt Horkesley side. Dedham A and Tollgate E played out a 5-5 draw, with Jonathan Fieldsend winning all of his games for Dedham.
Tollgate F stay top in Division Three as they claimed a 9-1 victory over Gt Horkesley D. Arran Hutchinson and Ethan Lloyd both achieved a maximum. Tollgate G lost ground on their ‘F’ team and are now 19 points behind in 2nd place after beating Pegasus D 8-2. Andy and Leon Huang ended the night unbeaten. Olly Fifield helped the Gilberd A beat Pegasus C 6-4. Fifield has now got an impressive win record of 90.91%. Gt Horkesley C beat Dedham B 9-1. Ian Carter and Roger Warren both won all of their games for Gt Horkesley.
In Division Four, Pegasus G beat CRGS A 7-3. Justin Lee continued his impressive season by winning all three of the school’s points. A team likely to challenge the top two for promotion, Dedham C, had a surprise 6-4 loss against Tollgate H. Oliver Rampton is improving as the season goes on and this was apparent as he won all of his games for Tollgate. Pegasus F and Gt Horkesley E played out a 5-5 draw with Gary Eames winning all of his games for Pegasus. Tollesbury C further cement their place in the promotion places after beating Gilberd B 7-3. Martin Lewis achieved a maximum for Tollesbury.
Tollgate A look on course for a second consecutive title in the Premier Division. They overcame Lawford A 8-2 with Trevor Lloyd ending the night unbeaten. Rowhedge B beat St James A 7-3. Oli Reynolds and John Andrews won all of their games for Rowhedge, although seven of the games were won in four sets or more. St James A move to 7th place; they are now one point above the drop zone.
Walton B are top of Division One thanks to a 10-0 win over Tollesbury A. Martin Lewis, playing up from Division Four, was unlucky not to win at least one game for Tollesbury as he took two of his games to 5 sets, as well as the doubles. Tollgate level on points with Rowhedge D in 2nd place after beating Gt Horkesley A 8-2. Ciaran Whelan achieved a maximum for Tollgate. Rowhedge D beat Lawford B 8-2 with Abhi Peshkar and John Owen winning all of their games for Rowhedge.
