Local Rivalry ends with a Draw in Division Two

It was the “Clash of the Horkesley’s” as Gt Horkesley D & E shared the spoils in a match that could’ve gone either way in Division Two. Horkesley D got off the mark quickly, moving into a 3-1 lead. However, Phil Wolski and Matt Rogers clawed back the points and then both won the doubles to move into a 4-3 lead. The ‘D’ Team then went on to lead 5-4, before a fine 5 set victory for Phil over Pete Witton ensured the points were shared. Steve Holland attained a maximum, stretching his unbeaten record to an unbelievable 15 matches! Lawford A just edged Pegasus B 6-4, Peter Freeborough going unbeaten. Rowhedge G achieved the same score-line over Gt Horkesley F, whilst Dedham B and Pegasus C played out a 5-5 draw.
