Premier division action saw Mark Pugh lead Newton to a convincing 9 1 victory over a sporting Barrow A squad and Jordyn Layfield and Russell Benstead both hit maximums as Groves completed a difficult season with a terrific 8 2 win at County Officers. Elsewhere Pulford A welcomed back John Chan for their clash with Newton A and he played well but was unable to stop the all student Newton team winning a fine match 7 3.

Division 1 saw County Officers A remain top following two victories in a week, a hard fought 7 3 win over Saughall Deva was followed by a fine 8 2 success away at Groves B. Richard Scott had a fine win over Alan Rigby for Saughall and Phil Hough hit both wins for the Groves team. Rivals Newton B were without Mike Mercer for their clash with Groves A and were made to fight for every point in an important 7 3 victory, captain Jeff Sharples hitting a hard won maximum.

Division 2 action saw Lynsey Pellew- Nabbs lead Groves D to an impressive 7 3 win at Electric Sports and Martin Dodd was in unbeatable form for Barrow B as they defeated Tarporley 9 1. Michelle Hall fought hard for two singles wins as Barrow C drew with Officers D and Barrovians will finish as runners up after a hard fought draw at Officers C.

Paul Curley once again led Barrow D to victory in division 3 , this time a 6 4 scoreline at Saughall Institute and they can still finish in runners up spot with one match to go.
