Student Joe Cutts returned to the Pulford A squad for their Premier encounter with County Officers A and led the villagers to an emphatic 7-3 victory. He was well backed by experienced John Ashbrook who has registered
some fine wins recently. Elsewhere league leaders Barrow dropped valuable points in a home clash with a full strength Pulford team, Florin Barbus inflicting the first defeat of the season on current singles champion Aaron
Beech, the match ending 6-4 in Barrows favour. This result enabled rivals Newton to close within one point following a comprehensive 10-0 scoreline against a battling Officers squad, Mark Pugh in unstoppable form.

Mike Phelan led division 1 leaders Pulford B to a terrific 8-2 victory away at Groves whilst challengers Groves A were  struggling to overcome lowly Saughall Port 6-4 despite a maximum from Sid Rivers. Beechwood fought out an entertaining draw with Newton B and remain well clear of relegation this season.

Steve Sung was in fine form for division 2 outfit Groves D and they came away from Saughall Deva with a hard earned draw, good to see Mal Turley back in the Groves ranks. Bryan Davies continues to improve and he also
hit a maximum in the match between County Officers C and a full strength Tarporley, the Officers taking the spoils 6-4.

Hom Wang led in form County Officers D to an emphatic 8-2 home victory over their own G squad and closed on the division 3  leaders as did Officers F, led once again by improving  John Ashton and  they recorded a similar scoreline against the sporting Officers E team. Michelle  Hall was the inspiration for the Barrow C victory over Groves E as she raced to a comfortable 3 wins in another 8-2 result.
