There were no surprises in the division 1 quarter finals although a below strength Groves B  trio fought hard against the County  Officers before losing 4 5. On an adjoining table Steve Clift ensured that the Groves A team fared better against Saughall Deva running out 5 1 winners, and also into the semis are the experienced Newton B squad led by Mike Mercer who accounted for Groves C.

Division 2 cup favourites, Officers C, overwhelmed lowly Tarporley in their Quarter final, and are joined in the last four by the Officers B squad who narrowly outpointed the useful Barrovians team 5 3. Elsewhere  Lynsey Pellew led Groves D to victory over  a weakened Barrow B, and Andrew Moulton of Electric Sports  secured a vital 5 set win over Officers D captain Ian Roper to complete a narrow 5 4 success. 

Elsewhere in the Premier cup Connor Climo ensured that Newton A progressed 7 2 away at Groves, and Newton first team overcame Pulford A 6 0. Into the Division 3 semi finals are Barrow C who returned from playing Officers C with an emphatic 5 2 scoreline, Bryan Fitzpatrick once again undefeated during the evening.
