In Division 2 Groves D took full advantage of a Tarporley side missing top player Dave Galley and inflicted a 10-0 defeat on the villagers, at the same time moving themselves to the head of the table. Linda Powell was joined by daughter Lynsey and in form Steve Sung who each hit maximums. Elsewhere in this section Dave Ash led improving Saughall Deva to a hard fought  6-4 victory over previously undefeated Barrovians. 

Premier Division action saw the powerful Newton squad overwhelm  Pulford A 10 nil with the defeated side giving a debut to Peter Davies, and the Newton A team also moved into a challenging position following an impressive 8-2 scoreline against County Officers A. Vietnamese Uni student Tung Pham hit two fine singles wins in his final match in the league prior to moving abroad. 

Newton B moved up the Division 1 table following a surprising 8-2 victory over leaders Groves A with Connor Climo undefeated during the match, and Graham Boyd also hit a fine maximum as Groves B were held to a draw by a stubborn Beechwood trio. 

In the only Division 3 result to hand David Randell continued his good form and he hit 3 singles wins as lowly Groves D forced a draw away at County  Officers G.
