Town team week 1

Both Chester and Ellesmere Port teams enjoyed successful starts to their Lancashire and Cheshire League campaigns at Halton on 28 October.

The first team squad of Kevin Dolder, Aaron Beech, Neil Powell, Mark Pugh and Joe Killoran won all their matches in the Premier Division with Kevin, Aaron and Joe all remaining unbeaten.  They beat Wirral 5-1, East Lancs 6-0, Southport 4-2 and Warrington 6-0. They can now look forward to meeting the other two unbeaten teams in their league in the second round of matches at Garston on 10 February 2013.

The A team squad of Rob Wylie, Joe Killoran, Simon Jones and Andy Eagles also won their four opening matches in the First Division with Joe and Simon remaining unbeaten.  They beat Halton 4-2, Manchester 4-2, Preston 5-1 and Halifax 4-2.  They now head the division and have a good chance of joining the first team in the Premier League next season.
