Preston is the first of five main and two satellite Grand Prix events during the 2019-20 season, with the second event at Hatfield in October. The University of Hertfordshire Sports Village is new to the Grand Prix circuit this year but is a well-known table tennis venue, including hosting the 2016 PG Mutual National Championships.

The circuit also returns to WV Active Aldersley for the Wolverhampton Grand Prix next March and to the Jean Brown Arena fo the Redbridge Grand Prix in May. A further main Grand Prix will be added in June at a venue to be confirmed.

Satellite events take place in Cardiff just before Christmas and at Jersey over the Easter weekend.
