Table Tennis has returned to Chelmsford and it has done so with a very different scoring system. The Central Essex Summer League features two a side matches but the doubles set has been dropped due to social distancing requirements. Instead, all four singles are played out over the full five ends instead of the best of five ends. Every single end contributes towards the final match result and therefore matches feature 20 scoring ends.
