Match Report - Stowmarket Leopards v Rougham Rangers

Stowmarket Leopards 5-5 Rougham Rangers

11/11/2015 - Ian Bridgeman

A Leopards team brimming with confidence, following their 10-0 away victory the previous week, took on an inexperienced Rangers team.

In the first match of the night, the previously unbeaten Pete Bernard played Aston Fallows... and that was the end of that, Pete's 100% average disappearing with a confident 3-0 win to Aston.

The next two matches were home victories, Ian Bridgeman beating Mike Hazell, and Mel Redit winning his first match of the season, showing that experience will sometimes triumph over youth, defeating Harry Williams.

The rest of the evening was nip and tuck with Rangers winning a match and then Leopards winning the next.
When it came to the final match of the night, Leopards went into the doubles 5-4 ahead, but again the sequence continued with Ashton and Harry beating Pete and Ian 3-1.

So the night finished 5-5, honours even, a maximum for Aston and some useful experience for Harry.
