INTRODUCTION      The Aylesbury and District Table Tennis League provides for competitive table tennis in the region of Mid Bucks coupled with parts of West Herts and Mid Oxons.

The following towns are served:-

Aylesbury, Chinnor, Haddenham, Princes Risborough, Thame, Tring, Stoke Mandeville and Wendover.

The 14 member Clubs are:-

Aylesbury Sports Club, Bellingdon TTC, Bierton Sports Club, Bishopstone TTC, Brill TTC, Haddenham TTC, Longwick TTC, Quainton TTC, Quarrendon and Meadowcroft TTC, Ridgeway TTC (Chinnor), Risborough TTC, Rivets Sports and Social Club (Aylesbury), Thame TTC and Tring TTC.

The 2018/19 Season

will commence in week commencing Sept 10th for Division Three and week commencing Sept 24th for the Premier Division and Divisions One and Two. Divisional and Fixture Charts may be viewed on the League's website. The Frank Mitchell Team Handicap Competition will be run on similar lines to last season starting with Groups and leading to a last eight team knockout.

The Divisions are made up as follows:

Premier Division: Aylesbury Sports A, Aylesbury Sports B, Aylesbury Sports C, Bellingdon, Bierton Sports A, Bierton Sports B, Haddenham A,  Ridgeway A, Thame, Tring A.

Division One: Aylesbury Sports D, Aylesbury Sports E, Bishopstone A, Bishopstone B, Brill A, Haddenham B, Haddenham C, Ridgeway B, Tring B. 

Division Two: Aylesbury Sports F, Aylesbury Sports G, Aylesbury Sports H, Aylesbury Sports I, Bishopstone C, Bishopstone D, Bishopstone E, Haddenham D, Rivets, Tring C.

Division Three: Brill B, Haddenham E, Longwick A, Longwick B, Quainton A, Quainton B, Quarrendon A, Quarrendon B, Quarrendon C, Risborough A, Risborough B, Tring D. 

 The date for the Annual Championships 2019 will be Sunday 24th March 2019 and they will be held at the Quarrendon Centre.

Annual Championships 2018 - Report

The Open Singles produced some thrilling final matches with Elson Costa beating Andy Misseldine in the first semi final while Lee Rogerson overcame Darren Palmer in the second. The final was close with Elson coming out as the 2018 Singles Champion. 

The Doubles was equally exciting with Andy and Darren winning a frenetic final from Elson and Jim Welch. 

Alan Cherry won the Veterans from Lee Rogerson but then lost in the Super Vets to Andy.

Tony Wheeler won the Consolation Singles form Jock Campbell.

The following evening saw 31 competitors for the Handicap Singles. Tring's young protogee Jean Paul Yoxall finished Champion beating Tony Greenham (+1 point) in the Final.
