FIVE-END ELLIS NOT LIVING UP TO HIS NAME!

  Mick "Five End" Ellis got his first player of the match award with a scintillating performance against Lodgers D. Mick raced through all of his singles in straight ends, not giving his opponents a sniff of a chance, the nearest anybody got was Steve Hill taking him to deuce in the first end. Dave "Smiler" Smith and Neil "Spinmaster" Snaith backed him up with three points each, although Steve Hill was unlucky once again, taking both players to five ends. It was a tough evening for Ian Gorrie and Tony Kime but they battled manfully but the firepower of Sibsey was too much on the night.
