SQUASH CLUB PUTS PRESSURE ON NOMADS!

Bottom placed Boston Squash Club put some pressure on Graves Park Nomads with a creditable draw away to Graves Park E to make it an interesting battle at the foot of Division 2. Pete Bell was the player of the match for the Park, winning his hattrick of singles and dropping just the one end to Nikki Eden-Smith. Alex Allbones added another point with a straight sets victory over Nikki but found Dave Hill a tough nut to crack, Dave winning in straight sets. Alex was unlucky not to win another point in an exciting five setter against Dave Tennent, coming from 1-2 down to just lose out in the fifth 6-11. It was a tough night for Andrew Wheatcroft, losing a close five-ender against the improving Nikki Eden-Smith before losing in straight sets to Dave Tennent and Dave Hill respectively. With the match poised 4-5 in favour of the Squash Club, it looked like they were on target for a famous win, but Graves Park E had other ideas and took the doubles to earn a draw.
