WALTERS PUTS IN EYE CATCHING PERFORMANCE!

Pete Bell got the Park off to an excellent start by beating the highly ranked Paul Matschull in a tight five ender, Pete taking the decisive end 10-12. Fred Calvert almost matched that feat by going the distance with Mick Dodes only to run out of steam in the fifth, Mick taking it 11-2. Pete Bell continued his good form by then coming from 2 sets down against Mick to take the next three (Mick ran out of breath!!). Pete then looked odds on to claim his hattrick but Dave Walters had other ideas as he too was on his hattrick, but it was Dave who put in the performance of his life to win in three straight ends.
