TOUGH NIGHT FOR LODGERS B!

  In a top versus bottom match-up, Lodgers J raced through their matches against Lodgers B with all matches bar one won in straight ends. Alan Ashberry was the player of the match with none of the Lodgers B players able to deal with the "brick wall"! Chris Christoforou also won his matches in straight ends, although Richard Baxter took him to deuce in a couple of ends. Colin Bell was the pick of the B team taking the second end off the illustrious Brian Hill, which takes some doing! In the doubles Alan and Chris were too strong for Trev Blackbourn and Richard with the J duo winning 11-8, 11-8, 11-9 to complete the 10-0 victory on the night.
