ELLIS SHINES DESPITE LOSS!

Stickney could only field two players in Vince Lozynsky and Adam Ellis when they arrived to take on perennial runners up Lodgers A. Despite this handicap, Adam Ellis put in a player of the match performance to take all three of his singles, with Gary Hill giving him his sternest examination taking him all the way to a fifth set, only to miss out 5-11. Adam then took out Kelvin Clements before finishing his evening with a straight sets victory over Graham Lacey. It was a tougher evening for Vince Lozynsky though, with Vince battling hard but the Lodgers boys were too strong and together with the three forfeited matches and the doubles, culminated in a 7-3 loss on the night.
