Pat Glynn beat Rajinder Davsi 14-12 in the fifth to clinch a 6-4 victory for Smiths Wood A at Colebridge Braves, in the Premier Division.  The Ireland international also put rising star Amit Ubhi in his place, while Alan Caffery also won two for Smiths, which included s superb success over Warwickshire county star Alan Hewitt.  Streetly B just edged Smiths Wood B 6-4 in a relegation battle, thanks to a Bemi Okunribido maximum.  Colebridge A and Hamstead A both had regulation victories over Beaufort Sports B and Hamstead B respectively.
A Matt Satchwell treble and two from England Over 60's international Ray Dixon saw Smithereens A keep up their promotion bid in Division One with a comfortable 8-2 success at Beaufort Sports C.  Sutton Coldfield B and Hamstead C drew 5-5, with only Sutton's Purdip Shoker unbeaten, after excellent wins over Baz Barrett, Hemal Ravel amd Wayne Morris.  Bournville A thrashed Smiths Wood C 9-1 as Parijat De and Martin George both registered maximums.  Simon Gleeson and Ian Scott were unbeaten for Maypole A in a 9-1 mauling of West Midlands Police A.  Pete Roddy mixed stonewall defence with lethal backhand smashes to gain an excellent maximum for Colebridge Chiefs in their 5-5 scoreline with Streetly B.  Roddy gained victories over the highly rated trio of Steve Taylor, John Waters and Steve Cartwright.
Smithereens B kept fitmly in the promotion frame in Division Two with an 8-2 hammering of Quinborne A, with Kevin Flavell and Dave Whittingslow in unstoppable form.  Colebridge Eagles soared to a 9-1 victory over Sutton Coldfield D thanks to hat-tricks from 'golden oldies' Mike Evetts and Bernard Oliver.  Steve Taylor registered another maximum for Colebridge Dinosaurs at Smiths Wood D in a 7-3 triumph.  Streetly C and Sutton Coldfield C drew 5-5, with Richard Parks of Streetly notching a maximum.
Martin George was unbeaten for Bournville B against Ivy Leaf A in a 5-5 draw in Division Three.  Jacombs A also shared the spoils with Colebridge Hawks, for whom Micky Welsh registered a hat-trick.  Jim Ferguson and Andy Rowland both gained maximums for Maypole B in a 9-1 mauling of Walmley A and also teamed up for a doubles success.  Pulkit Bawa of Quinborne B continued his impressive form this season with another treble in a comfortable 7-3 success over Sutton Coldfield E.
Bournville C had a thumping 8-2 victory over Walmley B in Division Four, courtesy of Dave Lyne and Bruce Barrett maximums.  Gurpil Verdi led leaders Hamstead D to a 7-3 away win at West Midlands Police B.
Colebridge Jaguars clawed a 6-4 home win over Jacombs B in Division Five, as Stuart Corr picked up another three singles wins for them.  The consistent Derek Palser was unbeaten for Ivy Leaf B, in a 6-4 triumph over Colebridge Knaves.  Individual leader Sam Henderson of Maypole C stays top of the pile after another maximum in the 6-4 win at Smiths Wood E.
