HAMSTEAD A completed their title-winning season in the Premier Division the Birmingham League with emphatic 10-0 victories over both Streetly A and Smiths Wood A.
Steve and Lester Bertie teamed up with Nabil Khalfey, and the trio were in unstoppable form.
Runners-up and former champions Colebridge Aces were kept busy with three fixtures that resulted in a trio of successes – against Beaufort Sports A, Smiths Wood A and Streetly A.
Aces beat Beaufort 7-3, despite Jon Ludlow beating both Amit Ubhi and Rajinder Davsi, Smiths Wood by the same score and Streetly 8-2, although Dave Bissell of Streetly had superb wins over Davsi and Edward Lynn.
Amann Ubhi cruised to nine singles wins in the fixtures to clinch the individual title, with the 18-year-old just edging out the consistent Steve Bertie for the coveted crown.
Hamstead B hammered Smithereens A 10-0, with Colin Greene, Steve Robinson and Carl Morgan in fine form.
Smithereens A drew 5-5 with Smiths Wood C in a clash between the two relegated teams, with the highlight being an exciting success by Adrian Jones over Stephen Smith by a tense 12-10, 19-21, 9-11, 11-13 scoreline.
Smiths went down 6-4 to Streetly A, with the winners indebted to a treble from classy defender Shane Gales.
Bournville A stay in Division One thanks to an emphatic 9-2 success over relegated Sandwell Unison, as Les Minott and Bhavesh Amlani grabbed crucial maximums.
