An extremely close affair between the league's bottom two and a result that does neither any favours in their battle to avoid the drop.  For Stanford, the consistent Tony Papasafikis won his two singles, backed up by skipper Mark Farley with one win.  The home side also added two doubles wins.  For Basildon there was a win each for Andy Roff, Jenne Seibolt and Satwant Gill, plus one doubles success.
