A hard fought draw between 2 teams at the wrong end of the Division 2 table but, in truth, a result that did neither side any favours.  Tony Papasifakis  recorded a hat-trick for Stanford 'D' who led 5-2 at one stage before being pegged back by Wickford Community who earned the draw with victory in the final doubles.  Kevin Wollen and Steve Chooi recorded two wins each for Wickford Community, but mention should be made of their team mate, Conrad Gomes, who fought hard but came out on the wrong end of three 5 set defeats.
