Stanford 'C' kept up their pursuit of league leaders, Wickford Cricket Club, with an emphatic home win over Basildon 'D'.  Maximums from Adrian Armstrong and Brian Spencer were the foundation of this win and there was also a singles win for Dan Harris plus victory in the final doubles.  For the visitors, there was a singles win apiece for Satwant Gill and Jenne Seibolt.  Satwant was also involved in the best, and closest game of the night against Brian, with Brian eventually winning 12/10, 11/9, 8/11, 13/15, 13/11.
