A strong Canvey side of Terry Giddens, Peter Cray and Tony Westwell put their visitors from Stanford 'C' to the sword with a convincing 8/1 victory.  Stanford's only success on the night coming by way of a doubles victory for John Handscombe and Tony Papsafikis over Peter and Tony.  No luck on the night for Mark Farley.
