October half term allowed  the opportunity for a day of table tennis coaching for Barrow juniors. The event took place at Furness Academy - the first time the league has used this as a venue for one of its events. There were two 2 hour sessions which focussed on skills and technique then tactics and matchplay. A big thank you go to Daniel Ives and Emily Standing for giving up their time to run these sessions. Emily is of course a former Barrow league player. She also played in Kendal league and gained honours at the able Cumbria Schools' Table Tennis events.
