Ashford TT A have been crowned league champions for a second time. pushing Postling A into second, and previous champions Ruckinge A down into second.

Ashford TT A claimed their title with a convincing 8-2 win over Little Chart A, the result rendering the match between Postling A & Challock A the following evening a dead match with neither team able to affect their final position in the league.  The challenge from Ruckinge A was ended by Postling A the previous week, but no doubt they will be back challenging again next season.  Mani Khapung (Ashford TT) sealed the Singles Averages crown winning an impressive 86% of his matches, team mate Tom Down finished in a personal best of third himself wining 81% of matches.  The pair were split by Malcolm Skates of Postling A  who managed an 85% win rate.  At the bottom of the table it will be newly promoted Challock C who drop back down into Division 2 for next season, star player Darren Richardson was a creditable fourth in the averages but unable to prevent his team finishing 12 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

At the other end Ruckinge C found the going tough after moving up from three at Christmas, and the step up in leave showed as they finished over 15 points off the pace.  They will be joined in Division 3 by Challock B, who have gone from second to second bottom in the course of a season.  Hampered by injuries and work commitments they were unable to fulfil one fixture, and were forced to field understrength sides which cost them vital points.  Sportsmen A narrowly avoid relegation with a last gasp win over Hamstreet, but the points were enough to edge them past Challock,  Douglas Ho (Sportsmen) took the Singles Averages title but virtue of defeating runner up Ben Brown (Hamstreet) in their final singles of the season, the players ended on the same average but having playing six games more Douglas was announced the winner.  Third place went to Hamstreet team mate Martin Yeandle.

Postling B strolled to the Division 3 title, winning 101 points out of a potential 120.  Having been relegated at Christmas.  The Postling side confirmed promotion with four matches to spare, their only blot was a 7-3 defeat at the hands of Ruckinge D.  Postling B will be joined by Little Chart Posties who have fallen just short a few times, but this time will get their shot in the next division after earning promotion with a final match win over rivals Ruckinge D.  Going down will be Challock D, and Ruckinge G.  The latter will feel slightly aggrevied having missed out on safety by a two points, instead it will be their team mates of Ruckinge F who will stay up for another season.  It is no surprise that Postling locked out the top two spots in the Singles Averages with Brian Cook winning 90%, and Russel Swain  at 89%.  John Jarvis of Little Chart Posties almost stole second but ended the season at 88% in third.

Finally, in the tightest Division Challock E secured promotion but winning the fifth leg of their final doubles matches against Ashford TT C in the last match of the season.  If the the leg had gone the other way Challock E would have dropped to third, and Ashford TT C would have joined their team mates, Ashford TT D, in Division 3 next season.  As it stands though Challock E finished a point above Ashford TT D, with Ashford TT C a further point back.  The only consolation for Ashford TT C was that Bob Young topped the averages at 83%, with team mate Mick Radford taking second at 80%, and Richard Partridge (Challock) on 75% taking third.

The Winter League now enjoy a winter break before returning in September, but Summer League kicks off with team of two playing on a point handicap basis.
