Division 3 League Report - 16th April 2018

Division 3 going down to the wire (by Nigel Griffiths)

With 3 games remaining in ADTTA div 3 , Five teams still have a mathematical chance of promotion and it is two from three for relegation.

Challock C moved to the top of the table for the first time following wins over closest rivals Ruckinge C (9-0)and Cheriton Motor House (7-2) and look favourites to get promoted.  Cheriton Motor House occupy the second promotion spot and have an 8 point cushion to Ruckinge C.  Alan Eyles and Mark Gregory both had a fine run of form to keep them ahead of the chasing pack.

For Ruckinge C Alan White and Paul Gregory have been consistent all season and they head Ashford C by just one point. For Ashford,  Luke Garvey and Dan Housden continue to impress and are sure to be pushing for the league next time around.

Little Chart Posties remain in 5th place but with a game in hand could still be dark horses. Brian Milner, Frazer Duncan, Colin Price and Richie Richardson are the model of consistency with all 4 averaging around 50%.

At the bottom,  it is all still to fight for with Challock D on 43 points, Rolvenden on 31 and Ruckinge F on 30 but with 2 games in hand and with a recent upturn in form may still catch Challock D to survive.

For Challock D,  Darren Richardson remains unbeaten, Richard Wright, Clive Devlin, Dan Simmonds and Trevor Hammond all have picked up usefull points for Ruckinge F in fight for survival.
