The league recommenced after the Christmas break with a very tight match at the top of Division 2 between Hanson Pidgeons and Hanson Eagles which finished 19 – 19. However, Eagles won 6-4 in sets, thanks to three for James Clark who took Nathan Shears 100% record. This result means there are now three players on 95%, having each lost only one set. Eagles also took the doubles which again dented Pidgeons 100% doubles record. Nathan and Adam Shears both won two each for Pidgeons, whilst Eagles star was James Clark with three sets, supported by Daniel Arthur and Yannick Rachel with one set each. Eagles hold on to second place in the table by just 7 points from Pidgeons who have a game in hand.
The leaders in this division Hanson Lions swept aside Hanson Vultures 30 – 4, with three sets each from Ross Walkom, Darren Walkom and Mike Bonarius. For Vultures only Jessie Yi managed to win any points.
