Division 1 leaders Pumas stretched their lead at the top of the table when they defeated Figheldean 1 - 9 in a match that was closer than the score suggests. Paul Coles was Figheldeans only winner beating Shaun Carver 11-7, 5-11, 15-13, 11-13 & 13-11. Shaun won his next two matches but only just managed it in five sets both times. Richard Fettes won his three matches but had to work hard to defeat Paul Cole in five sets, 11-6, 11-9, 1-11, 2-11 & 10-12. Ray Carver also won three, but had most difficulty with Lionel Cole whom he eventually beat 11-7, 10-12, 11-6, 9-11 & 4-11.
Hanson C went down 4 - 6 to Hanson A, but the star player was Andy Barnes (Hanson C) who won all three but had to battle hard against Peter Henderson before winning 11-7, 9-11, 11-1, 16-18 & 11-2. Josh White and Peter Henderson won two each for the A team. Wallop Wanderers lost to Hanson B 1-9, with Trevor Whitelock and Colin Sheppard winning three apiece for the visitors. Wanderers solitary effort recorded the first win for Neil McDonald in Division 1, when he beat Graham Audin 11-9, 11-5 & 11-5.
Tigers continued their march towards the top of the table with a 10 - 0 demolition of Hanson Lions. Jerry Holt, Malcolm Cummins and Andy Snellgrove all won three, but Andy was pushed to win the third game against young Zac Hine, before taking it 15-13.
In Division 2 the two top sides met with Enham triumphing 6 - 4 over the two ladies representing ThreeD’s. Andrew Farmer won his two, but only after being pushed to a 6-11, 6-11. 12-10, 11-6 & 11-4 win over Nicky Downs. Nicky won her other two matches against Patrick Baker and Pete Farmer, as did Marie Dyke. The ladies battling performance unfortunately did not win them any bonus points, when they lost the doubles to Pete and Andy Farmer 11-8, 6-11, 8-11, 11-8 & 11-4.Hanson F lost 3-7 to Test Valley A, who recorded their first win of the season. Three wins for Ray Lockington and two from Oliver Raymond eased the school side through. They were also aided by Matt Selwood who won his first match in this division when he outlasted Val Fox (Hanson F) 11-13, 11-9, 9-11 11-7 & 5-11.
